A facial oil built on moringa, one of the prized oils of ancient Egypt, with sweet almond, a touch of castor, and vitamin E. Frankincense and myrrh—the ancient resins once carried along the incense routes and burned in temples across the ancient world—join rose and neroli, each chosen for what it brings to the skin.
And then there is the scent. No single note announces itself. Warm and resinous, deep yet luminous, it unfolds slowly on the skin and lingers there. There is no synthetic fragrance. What reaches you is the resin and the flower itself.
A true oil, with substance. Silken and slow-moving, it absorbs completely, leaving skin looking luminous and feeling nourished.
For him, too: a few drops through the beard soften the hair and the skin beneath it. Emperor Hadrian, who made the beard fashionable in Rome, would have approved.
Warm three or four drops between your palms and press slowly into clean skin, morning and night. Let the scent rise as you apply it. It is the first step, not the last—finish with one of our creams if you like, or leave it as it is.
